Join us in our World Museum Day celebrations on Saturday 18th May, 2013!
The Friends of Morija Museum & Archives hold the annual Mohlomi Memorial Lecture in order to remember and honour Mohlomi mor’a Monyane and his wisdom, and to celebrate the success his teachings had in turning the first King of Lesotho, King Moshoeshoe into a nation-builder and an eminent statesman.
The Morija Festival, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, has been organising Cultural Competitions for Primary and High Schools across Lesotho since 2001, ensuring that our youth have a living understanding, appreciation and love for their heritage and the cultural performances of Lesotho.
Don’t miss this great event at 2012 Morija Arts & Cultural Festival!
Brought to you by the ‘Friends of Morija Museum & Archives’ Association, The Mohlomi Memorial Lecture encourages a spirit of broader understanding, honest inquiry and healing. Attend the next lecture by Prof. Njabulo Ndebele on Wednesday, 26 September, at Lesotho Sun Hotel.
Join us on Saturday, September 29th at Maeder House & the Morija Art Center for Raku Firing and an Art Exhibition.
