Thabiso’s quiet and unassuming presence speaks eloquently through his work. Precise, carefully wrought and deeply sensitive drawings seem to capture a stillness and clarity that belie the artist’s youth.
About his work
With work in a growing number of collections, including the collection of His Majesty, King Letsie III, Thabiso is clearly a rising light on the local art scene.
Thabiso names the sources of his inspiration as “The rich culture of the Basotho which people have abandoned as well as my former curator, Mr. Richard Bollers.”
